Gumpearl's founder uploads for launch

After intensive work with development, quality tests and planning, Gumpearl toothpaste tablets and mouthwash tablets are now finally ready for the premiere. Gumpearl is developed by pharmacist Sepide Hajitaheri and stands for a greener alternative for good dental health.

"I have been missing good toothpaste products that are free from plastic and that are vegan and cruelty free. The demand for vegan dental care is great, but not met by the industry. So I chose to develop my own products to meet the need. That makes Gumpearl one of the few brands that are good for both you and the environment -Sepide Hajitaheri

Gumpearl - good for you & good for the environment

The name Gumpearl comes from the English translation of Gum which means oral cavity and that the teeth are often described as the pearls of the mouth. In addition, the tablets are shaped like pearls. Sepide has been the driving force behind the brand from the start and today owns the company entirely himself. She is a trained pharmacist and grew up in a family full of dentists. After working with major brands in oral care, Gumpearl felt like a natural next step.

"I do everything and have been the spoon in the pot during every step in the production of the toothpaste tablets. Everything is based on which products I myself lacked and want to use. Then I involved my dentist parents and experienced dentists to get their valuable input."

Vegan toothpaste tablets are a matter of course

When the idea to start Gumpearl came, it was obvious that the toothpaste tablet would be vegan. The very reason why Sepide chose to produce its own toothpaste tablets and mouthwash tablets was that they would be free from animal products, plastic, alcohol, SLS, palm oil and parabens. That is why she is also a little extra proud ahead of the launch. The range of toothpaste tablets on the Swedish market is narrow. But with the own commitment to both oral health and the environment and a close collaboration with Swedish dentists.

The products will be appreciated by people who have been looking for a sustainable alternative for good dental health, without compromising on quality. Therefore, it was also important that the glass jar in which the tablets are packed looks good in the bathroom. Mission accomplished!

Currently, Gumpearl is available in a basic range of toothpaste tablets in different flavors, a mouthwash tablet and a toothpaste tablet for children over 3 years of age. Despite that, there are already plans to broaden the range. After all, the aim is to become Scandinavia's leading brand for vegan and sustainable dental care products!

Sepide's dental care routine:

I start by putting a Cool Mint toothpaste tablet in my mouth and brushing for 2 minutes, 2 times a day. Morning and evening.
Uses an interdental toothbrush to clean between the teeth.
Then I use Gumpearl mouthwash. I put it in 20ml of water so it dissolves. Then I gargle for 60 seconds and spit out.
